This vibrant world, our only sanctuary in the vast cosmos, is the origin of everything we are. Beyond the borders we draw and the languages we speak, we are, first and foremost, "Earthlings" sharing a single home. It is heartbreaking to realize that while we share the same sun and rest under the same moon, we have so often stained this beauty with blood and hatred. Why must we turn to violence on a planet that offers us such immense wonder? Just as the cherry blossoms bloom in harmony with the branches, our lives should be a testament to peace, not a record of conflict. Nature does not recognize the walls we build between us.
